EFFECTS OF HOMELESS
1. Instability
- homelessness leaves affected youth no permanent address, making it virtually impossible to attend school, obtain employment, secure food and shelter, and survive.
2. physical health
- due to poor diet, malnutrition and exposure, homeless youth are at greater risk of suffering from chronic health disorders like asthma, anorexia, and diarhoea.
3. substance abuse
- homeless youth are more likely to use and abuse drugs, and to engage in other dangerous and illegal behaviours. according to national surveys, three quarters of street youths were using marijuana, a third were using hallucinosens, and stimulants, and a quarter were using crack, others forms of cocaine, inhalants,and sedatires.
4. education
- homeless youth have a hard time to attending school because of legal guardianship requirements, residency requirements,proper records, and lack of transportation. so, it is difficult for them to get an aducation. studies reports that as many as three quarters of homeless youth have or wil drop out of school.
5. mental health
- homeless are more likely to suffer from anxiety disorders,depressions,postraumatic stress disorders and suicide due to the increased exposure to violence while living on their own.

ReplyDeleteby the way friend, if i'm not wrong, last week when our mid sim holiday, i've heard the news on tv 3 which is Buletin Utama said, our goverment had build one house for those wwho are homeless... the house, if i not wrong is ANJUNG SINGGAH, never mind we can check it again okay!!

For me....
I think in education we can relate the impact of the national education system, not to individuals. If the homeless youth have a difficult time to attend school because of care needs of law, residency requirements, records, and lack of transport. Thus, it is difficult for them to get an education. Clearly can be seen necessarily citizens of our country will lack the high intellectual knowledge. Of the country also will have trouble when the best brains diminished. I want to confirm that this Homeless own more for Malaysians or illegal immigrants. In the event of illegal immigrants over the impact of education can not be linked to the country, but may be caused to fall because the economy had to take back illegal immigrants to their home country.

i agree with siti aishah and fakrul.. there are many effect of this problem. this problem need to be solved. if not, i think our country can't be developed..

siti aishah : yes that true. there lots of people who didn't get the real education or never get it. for me, goverment got their own inisiatif to help them. but, nowadays young people like to be free and get the freedom. they think that they can live without education and that why they become homeless. btw, statistic showed that homeless consisting malaysian people and also imigren.
